The 18-acre fenced botanical gardens are part of a stunning natural landscape encompassing 507 acres in the Davis Mountains of the Chihuahuan Desert (the most biologically diverse desert in the Western hemisphere with over 3,500 native species). The botanical garden, arranged by elevation, contains over 500 identified native species and includes pollinator gardens, and a large cactus museum.
